Commenting on the announcement of a £25m Government scheme to help SMEs work together to bid for public sector projects, Welsh Lib Dem Shadow Economy Minister, Jenny Randerson AM said: "While I welcome this small step, the problems SMEs face will not be reversed until WAG levels the playing field by reversing the 'bundling' together of public sector contracts, which stop Small Welsh firms from even getting a look in.

"This scheme will mean more research and paperwork for small firms when it would be better to just provide them with access to contracts. I will continue to press the Government to make Wales a better place for small and medium sized firms."
